Presenter Paul Martin is joined by experts Mark Stacey and Catherine Southon as they value antiques and collectibles in the Kent port of Dover, followed by an auction in the cathedral city of Canterbury. Mark becomes enchanted with a Meissen figurine, and Catherine falls in love with a Minton jardiniere, while Paul finds a portrait of Lady Dover. On the seafront in Dover, Paul learns about the challenge of swimming the English Channel and he meets a local lady who conquered the waters.
