Actress Imelda Staunton talks to Mark Lawson about her life and career, from her early ambitions to become an actress, to her role on the West End stage in Entertaining Mr Sloane. She began her stage career playing the likes of St Joan and Piaf in repertory theatre. More recently she has starred as Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, busy-body Miss Pole in Cranford, and the eponymous back street abortionist in Mike Leigh's Vera Drake.
